: -)
Are they looking for rednecks in a white pickup yet? If these are Muslims the media will have to make a tough choice - do an anti-gun piece or ignore the episode? What agenda will win?
suckstart a basketball through 30ft of garden hose...
suckstart a B-52...
LOL!
reminds me of a scene from the movie "Baseketball." Jenny McCarthy wearing what looks like silver lipstick, holding a trailer hitch (minus the chrome!)

Whatever happened to , it just keeps you warm?
Just damn. Buy those cops some modern firearms (see the pic at the replied-to post).
I hope that was just an ankle holster backup gun.
LoL!!!
The anti-gun piece will have to be sacrificed to save the peace loving muslims embarrassment.
At least two gunmen opened fire Sunday inside a mall in upstate New York, authorities said. The gunmen began shooting inside the Hudson Valley Mall in Kingston, about 52 miles south of Albany. One gunman was taken into police custody. Mayor James Sottile said at least one person was hurt and taken by helicopter to a hospital.
Now why "gunmen"? It is a strange term. Why not "person". The victim is a person. In all other crimes there is an "accused rapist". The person is given the presumption of innocence, the crime is called out. Why not "accused shooter". Is it "gunmen" if there are women in the group? Race of shooters is not reported. Male gender is. Neither race nor gender of the "person", who I might have called the "unarmed victim" is.

KINGSTON, N.Y. A lone gunman opened fire with an assault rifle today inside a crowded mall in upstate New York, wounding one person before running out of ammunition and being subdued by employees, authorities said.
The gunman began shooting inside the Hudson Valley Mall shortly after 3 p.m. in Kingston, nearly 90 miles north of New York City.
The 24-year-old gunman went into a Best Buy store and started firing. When he ran out of ammunition, he was captured by mall employees, police said.
Police did not identify the suspect. Capt. Wayne Olson said investigators did not know the exact number of shots fired.
An Army recruiter was shot in the leg but was not the target of the attack, said Lt. Col. Paul Fanning, a National Guard spokesman. The recruiter was evacuated by helicopter to an Albany hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Another person was injured in the hand, but police said the injury was not a gunshot wound.
Ulster Town Supervisor Fred Wadnola identified the gunman's weapon as an AK-47 assault rifle.
The mall was evacuated after the shooting, but an unknown number of workers remained inside after police surrounded the building.
"Everyone was running and screaming. Then I heard the shots," witness Heather Craig told Fox News. "People were running over people. Other people were just standing there dumbfounded."
All mall entrances remained blocked off by police Sunday evening.
Michael Bovalino, chief executive officer of the mall's parent company, said crisis counselors would be available for mall employees Monday.
"Our main concern at this point is the well being of those that were injured," Bovalino said in a statement.

You're still trashing FNC despite being told by several freepers that CNN, ABC and MSNBC ALL reported the same thing as Fox? Oh, yeah. Your agenda is clear.
OK! Wow, the initial reports were all wrong. SORRY. No three gunman, one guy. Not a pistol, an AK. Odd.
Oh, everyone else isn't much better. But Fox is the worst at breaking stories. They'll hype stuff that is uncertain more.
This reminds me of something that happened to me in college. At the time, I was the photo editor of the school newspaper (SUNY @ Stony Brook, "The Statesman"), and one night we got a call that the university police had arrested a man because he had a handgun and high explosives! Well, I thought that this was interesting, and after the reporter-ette had finished the telephone interview with the UPD spokesman, I thought that I'd chat with her and see what was up...
As she was writing the story, I saw that she was referring to a "44 caliber handgun, stolen from the Navy, and a container of high explosive called 'Pyrodex!'" I asked her to read back her notes, and she said that she was told he was apprehended with a complete "44 caliber Naval Revolver kit, complete with the high explosives."
I said that she had to be kidding, and to put a hold on the story... It turns out that the student that was being held was found to have one of those black powder revolver kits that you assemble (and it was still sealed, in the box), as well as some percussion caps and a cannister of pyrodex, a synthetic black powder. He had bought it as a present for his father, who was an antique firearms collector.
The way she was writing the story, he was a mad terrorist out to shoot up the student union, then blow it up. Of course, it was really stupid to bring that sort of stuff onto a university campus in NY in 1986, but still, this was a bit over the top.

I'll have to disagree.
For instance, CNN was very late reporting the OIF scandal. Never did report the Eason Jordan scandal until it was over. Did CNN ever give five seconds to the Swift Boat vets? CNN is typically waaaaay behind in breaking news. Sure FNC gets it wrong sometimes, but at least they are there and trying to get the news. Considering what all the other networks did this evening, they didn't do half bad.
Maybe. The most seriously wounded victim has been described in AP accounts as an Army recruiter.
Would those be stunned or un-stunned beebers?

whew! The drugs are kicking in..datura and absinthe?? Did you ever, perchance, read Carlos Castenedo?
Fox has a serious problem with 1) overfocus on celeb and tabloid news and 2) really blundering on breaking news stories.....heck, going all the way back to the SCOTUS Florida election decision when they said Bush had lost.
I'm certainly not the only person with a big problem with Fox on here; there have been plenty of other threads with people with complaints confronting the "All conservatives must worship Fox News" Thought Police.
Or makes really great PJs! And sheets!

shot in the leg, and in critical condition? Must have been a femur shot and hit an artery....
