Well, some Conservatives have been saying for the past
5 years that what the nation needs is a good house-
cleaning of the Liberal Professors in the Colleges.
Maybe what we have here is a start.
It makes sense to me. A College/University has a
problem when it realies on its benefactors for financial support in addition to the student tuition. If the
benefactors (alumni) fall into an indignant mood over
guest lecturers, their gifts/endowments go down. That
coupled with possible strong reaction by parents of
potential new students spells catastrophe for the
school.
IMO Churchill and his flagrant ideas are not the real
crux of the matter. He's simply a stat in the system.
But the FALLOUT should be interesting to watch.
I can't be quite so optimistic on this one. The universities are loaded with evolutionists, feminists, quasi-marxists, pro-abortionists, pro-homosexualists, etc. This is just the tiniest tip of the iceberg being clipped off. Still, it is a positive development, even if so small...
