I don't have to admit any such thing. Children have political and personal disagreements with parents all the time. Well-adjusted parents deal with it in a more rational and dutiful manner.

Well-adjusted parents deal with it in a more rational and dutiful manner.I think you're missing the point - Maya is using her father's name to get a grant for her to go to university and it is giving her a leg up in becoming a paid activist. If her father was anonymous, she'd have to work through college like her peers.
