Unanimously Endorses Forrest er for Governor

Leading County Republican Organization

Adds Great Strength To Winning Campaign

( West Windsor ) – In the first real test of political and grassroots support in the race for governor, the Burlington County Republican Organization unanimously endorsed Doug Forrest er’s candidacy today.

“After a fair and open process, I am happy to announce that Burlington County ’s Republican leaders overwhelmingly selected Doug Forrest er to be the party’s endorsed candidate in Burlington County ,” said Burlington County Republican Chairman Col. Mike Warner . “Doug’s lengthy experience as both a public servant and a successful businessman makes him uniquely qualified to restore fiscal sanity and moral integrity to our state government.”

“I have stood with Doug before and I am honored to stand with him again, I know he’ll make a great governor,” said Sen. Diane Allen. “Doug is an honest man, a family man and somebody who knows how to solve the tough issues we face here in Burlington County and across the state.”

“I am proud and honored to receive the backing of one of the State’s premiere Republican County Organization,” said Forrest er. “It is vital that we come together as a party to defeat Jon Corzine and the Democrat bosses in November. Together, we are going to put an end to the corruption and waste that is costing taxpayers millions of their hard earned dollars.”

Adding to Doug’s endorsements today are Burlington County elected officials: Senator Diane Allen, Senator Martha Bark, Assemblyman Fran Bodine, Assemblyman Larry Chatzidakis, Freeholders Dawn Addiego , Vincent Farias, Jim Wujick, Bill Haines, Theresa Brown, County Clerk Phil Haines, Sheriff Jean Stanfield and Surrogate Elton Conda.

Other major endorsements of Forrest er include: Congressman Frank LoBiondo, former Congressman Dick Zimmer , former Congressman Jim Courter, Senator Nick Asselta, Senator Peter Inverso, Assemblyman Bill Baroni , Monmouth County Sheriff Joe Oxley, Monmouth County Freeholder Rob Clifton, Monmouth County Clerk M. Claire French, Salem County Freeholders David Sparks and Ben Simmermon, Atlantic County Freeholders Steven Johnson, Sue Schilling and Frank Finnerty, Mercer County Clerk Cathy DiCostanzo, Mercer County Republican Chairman Phil Angarone , Jr. and Salem County Republican Chairwoman Rita Shade
