The only trade deficit I'm worried about is the one to China. We need to do all we can to stabilize, educate, and develop 3rd world countries to dilute the cheap labor offered by China. It's for our best interest and in reality the only way to solve the worlds problems with hunger, AIDS, wars, etc is through spreading prosperity through free trade.

When an entire nation's core competency is harnessing and retaining its slave labor, managing to keep the vast majority of the population so dirt poor to work in purely appalling conditions, while giving the rest of the world elites such deals that they shut their pie holes to the human misery that makes their goods, well sir, that's just hard to compete with.
