I doubt this "leak" was an accident.
Duh!
I've always thought they should develop a drone that looks like a UFO. If someone does spot it, there is a chance that they won't report it for fear of being ridiculed. And if they do submit a report, it will probably be round filed.
I wouldn't worry about posting stories related to intelligence gathering in Iran. These stories are deliberate leaks, probably intended to tell the Iranian "leaders" that we're deadly serious about stopping their nuclear program and we're giving them one last chance to make their own decision to cancel this program.
Pumpkin Seed has replaced Aurora on most such missions.
Buddy who worked at Groom in the early 80s told me once he was arriving on the 737 commute from McCarran. Looked out the window, exclaimed "what is that!!!" at the "aircraft" parked on the taxiway. His seatmate told him to forget you ever saw it. From body language I infer that it was way beyond a pulse jet reconnaissance aircraft; something a couple decades beyond that. I am NOT talking about a UFO or alien technology; just some kind of approach to a flying machine that would never occur to outsiders. BTW, I worked with this guy for almost 15 years in a scientific environment and he is very sincere and a recognized individual in his church. Out of respect for his oath of secrecy I did not ask any questions about the sighting. The body language was enough and I suspect he didn't have the technical background in the technology to describe it well anyway.
>THNX for the link.
U R welcome. Have a good Sunday.
If a spy plane can fly over NK and sniff out their nukes 10 years ago, drones obviously could too. We've been putting spy planes over NK since 1951 (before U-2s). The Washington Post is so full of itself...
Why does the WaPo publish this story? I guess to try & smear Bush in some way. Try to get the White house on the defensive. The MSM is just getting more and more anti American every day. What is their deal?
I'm always tempted to ask the gusy who run the controls on the drones if I can just play with those controls for five minutes.
It looks like it would be so much fun.
I'd probably crash it into something, though...
