Besides, it makes no sense--their entire population isn't our enemy. Keep up with the pro-democracy movement among the young. Iran practically lost a generation to war with Saddam and the young generation there, well, I'd like to trade some of them for some of ours--they've got more respect for liberty and freedom. And say nicer things about the US.
Why dont we make a deal with Iran and build a nuclear power plant for them, It would be run by Americans and any Nuclear materials under the control of Americans. If we were forced to leave we blow it up on the way out.
The Iranians dont want Nuclear power plants , they want Nuclear weapons. They wont be happy till they get them.
Good post. I agree.
- 74% of respondents over the age of 15 support dialogue with the US
- 45.8% believe Washington's policy on Iran is "to some extent correct".
I don't want to put to fine a point on this, but I don't care.
I will never, ever, ever forget what those savages did to our people, after we spent billions trying to modernize their sewer-hole country. If those allegedly freedom-loving barbarians want democracy so badly, let them rise up. But I'll be damned if we should ever lift a finger to help that bunch of pagans do anything.
They can all starve and rot for all I care.
