I am planning to attend this with costumes; Tux and my mock-oscar and other costumes. I am bringing several friends.
I have been down there a day ahead of the oscar ceremonies last year and traveled there by jumping on the Metro subway starting from the North Hollywood subway station. I know the Hollywood and Highland station will be closed, so we will have to get off at the Hollywood and Gower station across from the Pantages Theater. This will work better since the proposed Freeper meeting place is only a few blocks west of that subway stop near Fredrick's of Hollywood.
