The best place would be on the corner of Highland and Hollywood, where we were two years ago, before the police got heavy handed. That's where all the limos have to stop and see us.

Ted and Jeffers and I will be meeting near Hollywood & Highland this Thursday night -- to discuss strategy and tactics.
The corner of Hollywood & Highland **is** the prime location for US, but thousands of Oscar fans have the same idea for THEM. :(
As you may recall, the reason that we were able to command such a great position TWO YEARS AGO was that the Red Carpet ceremonies were cancelled beacuse of security concerns, with the beginning of our liberation of Iraq -- so we had that corner (and the media) virtually to ourselves.
LAST YEAR, if you did not get in position before 10 am (as I did) you were locked out (as Ted was).
The police started to limit access to that corner well before noon -- and then after noon, they denied entrance to everyone not already in place.
Very likely, they will follow a SIMILAR plan this year.
As I recall, the show begins INSIDE the Kodak Theatre at 5 pm (CA time) -- and the Red Carpet/limo entrances begin OUTSIDE the theatre around 3 pm.
With luck, the limos will arrive as they did LAST YEAR, driving westbound on Hollywood -- perhaps driving right past the billboard on Hollywood and Whitley.
