Actress Jane Seymour waved a small US flag and cheered as she and 9,000 other immigrants became US citizens during a naturalization ceremony in Los Angeles today.
The British born actress, best known for her TV series role as 'Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman' said she has been in the United States since 1976.
'Ive realized that I've been living here longer than in my home country. American has given me unbeliveable opportunities,' she said. I realized with the US elections I wanted to vote and I couldn't. I felt the time had come to particiapte more fully.'
Seymour, 53 wore a cream colored suit to the ceremony at the LA Convention Center. She sat among more than a dozen US military personnel who also recieved citizenship.
The actress has been married four times and has five children. On of her ex-husbands is Lord Attenborough's son Michael.
Looks curiously like Jacqueline Bisset.
ah.....I'm tearing up already......
I actually have a picture of her somewhere. Someone once told me that was not that uncommon, but I bet different colors for each eye is really rare.
Nice picture. I'm always happy to see an older woman who still wears her hair long.
SOMEWHERE IN TIME is one of the President's favorite films.
I believe one of Attenborough's grandchildren was lost in the tsunami.
Income taxes, estate taxes and death taxes. She'll probably set up a residence in a non-income tax state too.
Get a proof reader....
BTW, I'd do her, being Frieday night and all....

I've seen few Bond movies, but I did spot her in a story on Bond girls a few years back in some magazine or other. Definitely stood out in the photo spread with the other ladies.
I'm sorry but you are wrong, Humphrey Bogart was the model for Gerber Baby!
"People polled throughout the United States have guessed that the Gerber Baby grew up to be Humphrey Bogart, Elizabeth Taylor and even Bob Dole. But Ann Turner Cook, mystery novelist and retired English teacher, knows the real answer. She was the subject of a simple charcoal sketch by Dorothy Hope Smith, an artist who specialized in drawing children.

Why do they call them urban legends and not suburban legends? They say Ann Cook lived in Westport Connecticut. Is that a city?
She is currently on Smallville playing the mother of Lana's boyfriend. Somewhere In Time is the best thing she has ever done.
My favorite scene is when Chris Reeve sees her by the lake and she waves at him as if she knew him but couldnt figure out why she "knew him". You have to see the movie to understand the whole romatic story.
When she showed up in Samllville for the first time, Lana waved at her because she remebered she from some dream and Jayne said "You looked as though you knew me from somewhere.." It was obviously her "tip of the hat" to Chris Reeve and Somewhere in Time......
great........I may as well open that first bottle of weekend wine......
The thing Ive always liked about her is that shes damn gorgeous.
People I know think my son was the model for the Gerber Baby, I kid you not.
I used to forge Dan Gerber's signature on RNC fundraising letters. He was state (honorary) chairman, and I could somehow get his signature better than other staffers. But no, no connection to my son being the spitting image of the Gerber Baby. LOL
sweet!!!!!!!!!........I loved the music in the film too..real tear jerker
yeah, I heard that the gerber baby was a heck of a lot of different peopel!!
