Yeah, and with a moronic attitude like that, the Libertarians with whom you might have been able to forge an alliance with on some issues will never come back.

Libertarians constitute less then 1/2% of the electorate. Some estimates place the figure at 250K. Whatever the membership is, Libertarianism is irrelevent. Conservatives may find Libertarians agreeing with them on the need for fiscal responsibility, but the overall Libertarian agenda is too wacky to be taken seriously by rational folk.

Most of these groups should be ideological brethren...with the exception of the ACLU. The Log Cabin Republicans are not very conservative, in fact not very republican, but better under our tent then the other.

Thanks for the post. Welcome aboard LP and libertarians! Of course, for what CPAC is worth, they might have well set up their own conference.

CPAC -- welcoming the Log Cabiners, Libertarians, and the ACLU.

Granted that part of conservative thought is small-l libertarian, what in the world is the point of those organizations being involved???

I can't wait to thank them for wasting my tax dollars on that ridiculous recount of Ohio.
