God made us to be chast with one person for life. I don't get the attitude of many male freepers on this. Maybe single girls are turned on by this kind of attitude but I wouldn't want a man with this kind of attitude raising my children. It just isn't a christian attitude.

I totally agree with you. Men like to justify this behavior as being biological--they are just being men, after all. but honestly, its disgusting and I have to seriously question the values of any woman involved with a man like these exhibited on the board.
Note--the article posted earlier does not interview the actual child, but an older friend who he no doubt felt compelled to brag to. Maybe the boy did love every second of it, but that does not mean there will be no consequences. Kids love lots to do lots of things they should not do.

I don't doubt that God intended for the male-female coupling to be the standard and that they should be sexually chaste.

That being said, there is also no denying that males have a very strong instinct to enjoy physical sex with a variety of attractive women. Women have an instinct for sexual variety too, but it's not nearly as prominent - their instinct, ultimately, is to form an emotional bond with a male and then couple with them both physically and emotionally. Males come to that party late, but in time do domesticate to fit that vision.

I once freaked out a typical angry feminist type, boxing her into a corner she never expected. We were discussing sexuality and men, and of course she had a ton of hangups regarding males, sexual behavior, and sex roles.

Basically, I think that the presence and interaction of women domesticates men for the kind of relationships you are talking about (which are best, most fulfilling, and serve public policy better).

I was discussing how the dominant male instinct is to have as much sex as possible with the widest variety of women, with as little consequence and cost as possible, and truth be told the emotional bond and related issues (like even liking the woman, or even knowing her)weren't instinctively important to men.

As an example of this male instinct run amok, I gave the example of the male homosexual community. It's a sexual world uncluttered by the feminine outlook on sex roles, so what happens? Men do all the playing with each other and naturally make self-satisfying rules of engagement that serve their male instincts: that is, lots of sexual variety, not a lot of emotional entaglements, the sexual coupling rituals are more casual and fleeting, and an emphasis on physical gratification (crossing over into debasement) is paramount.

So when you read about that new strand of AIDS in NYC this week, and that the guy who got it is in his mid-40s, single male, and how he has had many sexual partners since this past October (dozens or more), realize that he is not acting on any unique 'gay' quality, but rather on his sexual instincts as a male for variety and uncluttered sexual gratification.

The all-male gay community created a world of sexual rules and rituals where only the male instinct was their guide. The result, I think, is nihilistic, narcissistic, debasing, degenerate, selfish, and dangerous.

The lesbian community, on balance, traditionally does not have this voracious sexual appetite when it comes to their coupling patterns. Hmmmm.....could it be that they are women and naturally seek more of an emotional bond and less of a fleeting physical bond?????

So I explained to her that that aspect of the gay male community's behavior has almost nothing to do with them being gay, but rather much more to do with them being males and crafting a sexual atmosphere and rules of coupling that reflects the dominant male view of sex. The female perspective, needs, and outlook never tempered their instincts. The result is a disaster.

That freaked her out but she had no retort - on one hand, I validated all those nasty things she felt about men, but by using the example of one of her favorite minority groups. As I say, every day and every way, I am glad I don't think like a leftist!
