Generally, the Admin Moderator will quickly delete a post if you ask. Just click Abuse and explain why you want to pull a post. I stupidly signed my real name to a post once. It was gone 5 seconds after I clicked Abuse.
Laz has written some good rules here, and they are good rules on whatever forums you might post on. Newsgroups, too.
You just can't be too careful, and that especially applies to anyone who has some important position who posts here.
Freepmail is great, but be careful with it. An innocuous request from someone could lead to things you don't want or need. Best to simply never reveal any personal info on yourself.
I take it you have never worked with Google. Click here to see why that won't help. You can always ask the Admin Moderator to delete a post for you. So when you are suitably horrified by the return from clicking that link, press on the "report abuse" link under the posts you want to delete and cite "personal privacy concern" as the reason for the delete.
"Maybe we should, if possible, have the ability to delete any or our own posts?"
Go to the reply or post and click the abuse button and identify yourself as the poster and ask the Admin Moderator to remove your reply or post.
