When I was so desperately trying to sell the old house this last Fall , my Real Estate Shark figured out that we were Bush supporters, (signs on the lawn during the election) and I have always wondered if that was part of why we had such trouble with her.
It ain't right, but people DO react!
I was slogging through the DUmp around election time, and they had posts bragging about firing employees over political views.
So yes, they do react as you said.
Made me wonder if it could be prosecutable, but one would have to prove it which makes it extremely difficult.
The burden of proof would be hard to achieve in that case.
