Nothing here yet, but I did get a strange anonymous Freepmail request for contributing to the welfare of misunderstood and downtrodden PhDs with a propensity to commit intellectual Harikari on their FR profile page.

You know, that was such an astute remark that it has me wondeing now: who is it really that's more cowardly?

a) the person who sends an email (or even posts his/her real name on a public site like this one;
or
b) the person who bravely deletes email without reading it?

Let me think. Let me think. C'mon give me some time to think, I'm a "newbie" here and that gives You (see? I even capitalized the letter Y, out of tremendous respect I have for you and people like you) the automatic right to haze me and fry all my views.

I took away that right from everybody the day when I was born. So, you got something to say - spit it out. Don't be so "brave" be more of a "coward" - like me.
