My husband did it for more than 25 years........so at least we can do most of it ourselves without having to hire contractors.
I'm pretty much in charge of painting and wall paper........though he is going to teach me to install vinyl siding this spring. I already know how to shingle a roof!! And except for sanders, I do nothing with power tools!
