Whites 'Leaving Cities as Migrants Move In' (British white flight)
The Telegraph ^ | February 10, 2005 | Philip Johnston

Posted on 02/09/2005 6:15:01 PM PST by quidnunc

White and ethnic minority communities are becoming increasingly separated by growing levels of population movement and immigration, a report says today.

More white families are moving from London to the regions while many immigrants arrive in the capital from overseas, the think-tank Migrationwatch says.

The change in 10 years has been "extraordinarily rapid'', with 606,000 more people moving out of London than arrived from elsewhere in the country. In the same period, a net 726,000 immigrants arrived in the capital.

Other regions, notably the South West, South East and East Midlands are having to expand rapidly to deal with the white outflow from London, putting strain on their housing, transport, education and health systems.

Of the migration from London, almost 300,000 people moved to the South West between 1993 and 2003 and 181,000 went to the east of England.

Migrationwatch says the changes, even for a city as diverse and as vibrant as London, are "unprecedented''.

It says: "Migration within the UK is mainly from areas of high ethnic minority population to those with predominantly white populations.

"The effect is a rapid increase in the ethnic minority composition of some boroughs, resulting from an outflow of the white population and an inflow of African and Asian international migrants.

I wonder if this will have the same impact on British politics that it had on US politics?

Solution? Don't let the 750,000 immigrants into London. Problem solved.

I can count 5 new families who have recently moved from England to our neighborhood (give or take). These are all professional, working families. They are good neighbors and all that, but some (not all) have a huge chip on their shoulders. They kindof hold their noses at the stench of us classless Americans while they practice their refined lives. Only the best will do...

Heck, that's been happening here in the US since the late 50's. Look at the distribution of Dem voters - All in the central, large cities where Dem support approaches 90%+ in some minority communities.

I live in Michigan, about 25 miles from Detroit and have been here for the past 5 years - I've been to Detroit proper exactly twice in that time and I have no plans to go as far into the future as I can see - And the reason has absolutely nothing to do with racism and everything to do with concern for safety and values.

Started here in Cleveland in 1973 when busing, legislated from the bench, was shoved down the Clevelanders' throats. Sitting by idly while one's kids sat up to two hours on buses going across town before AND after school didn't set too well with thousand of families. And having their children shunned and beat up at a distant school didn't set well either. But an incredibly huge bureaucracy was created of bus driver, bus monitors, bus mechanics, race-baiting attorneys, etc.

Cleveland has never recovered from that idiotic damage. Good luck, Britain.

Hehehe...

You've never watched Keeping up Appearances? It's a British comedy about this upper middle class lady who aspires to a higher social standing. She's always giving Candlelight Suppers that the invitees generally dread.

Hopefully, the Muslims will let the Brits live there after they have taken the country.

And please, make sure that when the moving van is parked, you can see the Royal Crest. And does the milk come from his lordship's cows? I don't want milk from undistinguished cows, as I'm sure you'll understand. My husband does work for the local council, even though he sometimes gardens without his tie.

Well, maybe the British voters will do the same thing to their PC liberal politicians that Americans did to their own in November of 1994.

SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT! : D

"...an outflow of the white population and an inflow of African and Asian international migrants."

"Asian" is Brit-speak for "Arab."
