I made the point that the breakup of the family structure in our country has contributed mightily to the epidemic of child abuse we see reported in the news. Your response seemed to be that there was really an "underground" sort of abuse that occurred back when families were more stable--an abuse all the more sinister because it was simply ignored.
Plentiful statistics and numerous case studies support my point. Yours is just rumor and speculation, bolstered perhaps by anecdotes (very like the back-alley abortion horror stories).
I threw in the line about men because you seem so irrational in your contentions that I suspect you have a thing about men. If there is some other reason for your irrationality, I apologize for that bit of speculation.
If you believe that the "news" and unsourced "studies and statistics" has any credibility, why bother posting here?
State your sources for believing that sexual abuse of children did not occur in large numbers in the past 100 years.
Do you mean to imply it did not happen since the MSM did not report them?
