You should check into it. I believe it is 1/16th to be enrolled as a member of the tribe. (I used to have a friend who looked like Sven from Sweden but he was a bona-fide something % Cherokee within the prescribed protocol for determination of lineage)

Well my Mom told me that all of us kids could have registered as Cherokee, but back then the focus was E Pluribus Unum. It's a funny thought, but yes, if grandpa is listed in the Dawes database then I'm in like Flynn. I would be eligible for preferential admission to law school.

I don't believe in quotas so I won't do it for that reason. I will do the research just for fun.
