This is good news. Many are angry with Ebay and especially with Paypal, which Ebay now owns, but have had little other choice. Competition could make things better for those who stay with Ebay as well as those who jump ship.

mypoass.com has about 100 items for sale. This story could have used a real competitor.

I have moved most of my sales to bidville.com and ioffer.com, lowering my prices 10% or more. The items I have left on ebay, I have raised the prices 20% to cover the increased fees.

Unfortunately, you will not find any customers for serious collectibles anywhere else but eBay, unless you go to a specialized site.
