we remain the most free and just nation Not even in the top 10 for economic freedom.
We're not as bad as Mexico, but there are dozens of nations with less corruption than we have among police and public officials.

I read the article on WND yesterday morning. I looked at the top 10 countries and New Zealand is on it. I am giving serious thought to immigrating to NZ. It is number 5. The minus for NZ is they have more stringent gun control, however, their liberal gov't might get sacked soon. I also have a 6 year old and his mom, were looking at getting back together and I think NZ might be a better place to raise him.

" Not even in the top 10 for economic freedom."
I would be very interested in your list, especially if it is from www.worldnetdaily.com (wnd?).
Somehow I would be surprised if your views regarding intellectual property are supported over there.
"We are between the ballot box and the ammo box."
Being between these two is a lot like being "a little pregnant" or a little bit at war. I think our founders went through this dilemma and decided they had to draw a line in the sand. Being in "between" is a very dangerous place to be.
I'll admit NZ does have a certain appeal to it. If you move to NZ, don't forget to mail in your conservative absentee ballot. :>)
