I think the letter just got the citation wrong. It doesn't matter, all they said was his name isn't really Jeff Gannon. Well duh! A lot of reporters use fake names. Gannon himself said his was just a reporter's name.

I think the letter just got the citation wrong. They said it twice. And the point is, a congresswoman' office ran the letter as the basis of a press release without doing any fact-checking on the letter.
