2,700 people paid $40 a piece to see Limbaugh live. Proceeds from the event will go to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, a charity Limbaugh has supported since he went national in 1988.

Lets hear it for Rushbo

the GOP faces a major political problem that can no longer be ignored, he warned. "The Republicans' failure to understand the American people's building rage on illegal immigration" could give rise to a third party candidate, he said, who could tip the 2008 presidential race to the Democrats, much the same way Ross Perot's campaign did in 1992.

Nah. Given the choice between a one trick pony candidate who can't win while giving the election to the party devoted to MORE illegals (someone has to chaffeur the family around and clean the mansion), versus voting for the Republican, there isn't any choice.

Yep. I agree.

I just want him back on the show. The difference between him and his guest hosts messes up the show. I tune into his hour to listen to energetic humor and discussion. His guest hosts all act like drones compared to him.

When you work with wood you use a saw, plain, chisel, and sander. Each tool has a purpose. Some are employed for ripping apart large chunks of waste. Some are used for finishing detail. And some have multiple uses. that range from ripping to detailing.

Tonk is a finely tuned soldier. His threads and blogs are useful when ripping apart Kerry's past. Rush is a finely tuned broadcaster. His show is the most listened talkshow in the US, useful in a multi-tasking role. And then there are everyday conservatives whose lives touch others ina more sublime way.

To say that Tonk is a nut is just as stupid as saying Rush is wrong for not ripping libs a new one. Rush has much class. Tonk is a good guy. And we have our lives to live as everyday conservatives. Let's leave it at that.

You can't cut a 2 x 4 with an orbital and you can't polish wood with a ripsaw.

His comments on Ross Perot are 100% on the money. If people only had to choos between Bush Sr. and Clintoon, Sr. might have won- but he gave us the biggest tax increase in hisotry (t the time).

Perot was a rage against the excess of govt. Bush Sr. lost that vote. Newt Gingrich successfully tapped it and gave us the Republican congress in 94 that cause the 'toon to sign welfare reformm and a bunch of other good things he NEVER would have.

If clintoon had a democratic congress, we would be mostly socialist by now- his 1992 budget projected $750billion deficits by the year 2000. Instead we had the closest thing to a balanced budget (thanks newt! and ross!)

W better get this message FAST (before the next congressional elections)

Sounds like maybe we SHOULD BE concerned with Hillary. She can easily get 43% of the vote and win the presidency with a thrid party candidate.

Yep! If they won't listen to our voices they may suffer from our lack of votes.
