Will putting some of them to a little inconvenience make you feel better? Is that what your sense of justice needs to satisfy your indignation over them violating immigration laws?

no, actually, I need more than that. They thumbed their nose at our laws, I'd rather have them deported and barred for life. We can get guest workers from elsewhere, including from among the ranks of those who have already applied and are waiting in line while the illegals trample in. There is no way you can give preferential treatment to the illegals to the detriment of those law-abiding applicants and say that the process is just and fair.

No one is getting any preferential treatment. There is only one line for guest workers. Do you understand the difference between "immigrants" and "guest workers". Immigrants come here to spend the rest of their lives here and become citizens. Guest workers just want to work here until they can afford to return home.

They are apples and oranges. You can't say that rules for one group are fair or unfair to the other. No one goes in front of anyone else or gets preferential treatment.

I agree. Good honest people wishing to emigrate to our country, sometimes wait for years. I'd much rather welcome these people to the US, than worry about what is sneaking over illegally. It seems like there are still people that cannot grasp the fact that we are living in a different world these days. 9/11's lessons are lost on them. Also, there are people here who want to do the jobs that are being given to illegals. All we want is prevailing wage. You can't compete against someone who will work for half that amount, under the table.
