The Who's performance was the highlight of the 9-11 benefit concert at Madison Square Garden. Actually the true highlight was when H*llary was booed on stage. Roger won't criticize the Queen of England, but the crowd sure did boo the Queen of New York.
I agree. They really rocked that place, got everyone on their feet whooping and hollering. I recall hearing Daltrey say, when they were finished, something along the lines of "I love Americans." It was more of an aside rather than to the crowd. It was genuine.
