So to pretend that Jeff Gannon isn't a real journalist because it happened to him once, makes you a likely troll and a malicious liar.

Well, I don't think that the MSM newshogs count as real journalists any longer - they ran with a story without cross-checking it, which is a cardinal tenet of journalism. If ABC screws up in that manner, that does not therefore rationalize away what Gannon did.

And you should check a poster's history before levelling allegations - the poster in question has a mix of paleo and libertarian tendencies, and has shown shown no affection for the MSM.

Unfortunately, the other thread on this subject has been pulled. I find it higihly suspicious that TWO recently registered freepers both suddenly saw rumors about Mr. Gannon on unnamed blogs, and voila! MurryMom pops up apparently ready to pounce on this story.

Sorry, but I am tired of people who show up here to stir the pot, and this looks like one of these occasions to me.
