How is CNN covering this?
Anderson Cooper had a 5-minute segment at the bottom of the hour (7:30), half report by Kathleen Koch, half interview with Congresswoman Slaughter. Anderson Cooper noted that the White House and Talon News declined invitations to appear, and did ask a few tough questions (apologizing for arguing with her).
I think Wolf Blitzer also had an interview with the Washington Post's Howard Kurtz at 6.
It's also been picked up by Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, who interviewed Dana Milbank of the Washington Post.
The common thread seems to be trying to tie the Gannon resignation to the (perceived) Armstrong Williams pay-for-play incident. Congresswoman Slaughter claimed Gannon was "part of the pattern of Armstrong Williams, and three or four others, amid who knows how many, who have been paid to shill for this White House", and even admitted she thought Jeff Gannon was a White House plant.
