Nothing odd about it. Type "green and yellow polka-dotted pink footballs" into your Google toolbar and look at the ads on the right side that show up.

I guess you dont understand how Google Ads work. This isnt something you type into google. These are ads that come on on your website (ads you get paid for hosting). They are supposed to match the type of website you have. If I own a website about mustangs, only cars and mustangs are going to show on the google ad, or whatever else you signed up for when you joined the affiliate program. I know, i use them.

It's just a function of google adwords.

'Palestenians for sale' has a link to ebay.com, I think. Basically, it's a shorthand way to say 'search for stuff related to 'Palestenians' on ebay. Or other place like that.

People bid on keywords (Israel, Palestine, Palestenian, Abbas) and then based on the searches that people make (or perhaps the content of a site), the appropriate ads appear.

So if you go to google.com and look up 'Batman,' there will be a number of batman and batman-related words in the ads on the sidebar.

If you go to a site that has google ads (maybe gets paid for them) that has to do with 'batman,' you might encounter the same ads.

This is a function of what advertisers are doing, pretty much. Whether it is effective or not, the folks who buy the keywords will find out.

You don't understand how the context-sensitive ad system works.

Depending upon what is on the page, the Google AdWords campaign puts ads that have keywords associated with it.

As for someone trying to sell "Palestinian" on ebay, it may be a simple association to items made by Palestinians and the English is a bit rough.

To another.. You dont know how google ads work.. this has nothing to do with what you type in. These are affiliate program ads. People get paid per click on these ads. This has nothing to do with search engine part.

That's true, but the ads are still uncontroversial.

What exactly is odd about them? They have the ad's for every state and county and region, simply take out "Israel" or "Palentine" and replce it with yuor own city.

Ok let me explain a few things to you. Your windbag 3 reply method require me to reply again.

1. This is up on LFG - these are the people that broke the rathergate story? They arent about to put up stupid things.

2. Google ads are very targeted, again this has nothing to do with the search engine... this has to do with what you choose to be shown on your website.

3. The odd thing has nothing to do with Israel or Palastine it has to with the fact that Abbas Singles are pointing to Ebay. Do we know who Abbas is? Along with the others.

"Palestinian for sale"

Hmmmmm.... Well, I guess with Saddam out of business it's a buyer's market.

BTW, where do they auction lefty professors? We need 100 head, Grade A Prime, on the hoof, for our plan to infiltrate Berkeley.
