In the summer of '72 I had a job on an assembly line in a lamp factory (lasted almost two weeks there!) and one day we went to this dude's house during lunch for a doobie and some loud tunes.

The dude put 'Black Water' on his turntable and when it got to the "hear some funky Dixie Land" chorus at the end, I was blown away - - it was in freakin' QUADRAPHONIC!! I'll never forget hearing the four parts of that chorus coming out of separate speakers located in the four corners of the room. That song was MADE for quadraphonic.
