Another voice heard coming from the Ivory Tower. I doubt that Mr. Murdock has much face to face contact with the people he's talking about. I'm sure he'd love to replace most of his employees with the low wage unskilled "aliens".

As opposed to what? Overpaid unskilled union members?

Agreed, he's above speaking to the little people.

Another hater of the nation state, I might add. We business people broadly fall into three buckets. Guys like Murdoch are the uppity, ungracious spoilt children, who have neither respect nor gratitude for the very protective strata who allowed them to excel in the first place. The second bucket are the terminally clueless, men and women who go with the flow and never really think about who to thank for the rule of law and other factors that made their success even possible. The main difference of group two versus group one is that they are not uppity and spoilt like Murdoch - the keep their festering gobs shut and obey the law. The last group, of which I am part, realize that part of one's reinvestment strategy needs to include investment into the Western and Western patterned nation states that have been havens of freedom, sanity and law, and which have been the breeding grounds of capitalism. We ARE different from the countries now so in vogue with globalist fools. And true success means being successful without cashing out the very lands and systems that allowed our birth. Don't be fooled by the rhetoric of those who would label my view as "socialist" or "overly regulatory." Indeed, there should not have to be laws to regulate chivalric honor, however, should things get too far out of hand vis a vis immigration, border busting and enabling fiendish anti Western lands, then some imposition on us all may be unavoidable. And you can take that to the bank.

I wonder if this elitist has fences around his yard or locks his doors --- if he does then he's nothing but a hypocrit. Very likely he identifies with the oligarchs of Mexico who are in desperate need of massive immigration or else they'll be over-turned in no time.
