The Eagles' time management problems -- they basically wasted the last 5 minutes of the game -- were what really lost it for them, though. I agree. They had a legitimate chance to wing that game or at least send it into OT, especially considering the Pats had lost their starting corner. I never saw poorer clock management in HS, College or Pros.
Maybe he was sick, but that is no excuse.
He was sick. Why didn't the coaches replace him? Why didn't he ask to be taken out? Because the sports media had made him into an idol. Another word for it is they "overrated" him beyond human measure.
