Ain't NO way Joe Montana or Favre with precious moments ticking off the clock are lackadaisically calling a play in the huddle, or attempting to complete a 2-yarder in the middle of the field. They're instinctively going No-Huddle.

Not if they've got a concussion, particularly a bad one. Your head spins, its difficult to concentrate, and you feel like puking. I'm sure McNabb was hoping his head would clear, and it just didn't. If you want to blame him for anything, blame him for not taking himself out of the game.

Actually, one of his teammates should have said something to Reid. But maybe they thought that, concussed or not, McNabb gave them their best chance to win.

Has there been definitive word that McNabb had a bad concussion? IF McNabb was that disabled, via flu or concussion, or whatever, he's gotta come out, then the team's got to suck it up.

Seemed to me since the first quarter McNabb was sloppy with his throws. He never got into a groove.

Who knows the truth of the matter?

Based upon observation, his performance was mediocre -- just as injured Steeler QB Roethlisberger was two weeks ago -- only the Rook made NO excuses.
