"Man, after Rush made his comments about McNabb, Philadelphia has lost about 3 games, not counting the last two regular season ones this year where they didn't try. His comments seem to have put fire in McNabb's heart."
McNabb....or the Team???....
Yea! I Win!
I still think alcohol was involved, though. That was a lot of severe cramping, more than should be expected for the weather at the time. But the tendency to cramp (and to puke)goes way up if you've indulged, even if it was 2-3 days before.
I think they mean average in the context of NFL history, not the quarterbacks playing last year.
31 TD and 8 picks and he can't throw with any accuracy? You didn't think his TD passes had any accuracy? Is your comment due to the influence of drugs or just complete ignorance?
Big deal . . . Brady had a 103-degree temperature before destroying the Stillers two weeks ago. Wah wah wah.
See that is why we lost......FredEx was calling the plays!
They did look tired out by then. McNabb wasn't sharp, but he had to carry the entire load himself -- no running game!! THAT is the real disappointment -- if the Eagles had a running game, the Pats couldn't have played those pass-only defenses.
No knock on McNabb, but I knew the game was over in the 1st Quarter when he spun out of one tackle and ran smack into a blitzing linebacker. No way he could have shook that hit off.
ok where the heck is MOM with the soup when I needed her
if nothing else she could have babied me and went out there
and played, heck Donovan i can throw interceptions at the goal line,I guess Donovan is liberal they always make up excuses to why they lost, for once in your pathetic lives admit you were outclassed and get over it..and I am a Chicago Bear fan geeze
I agree. Down 10 with 5 minutes. You have to adopt the attitude that you are in 4 down territory. I am not suggesting spiking the ball on every series, but he could have spiked it once or twice to stop the clock at key moments, thrown sideline outs to TO, and called two plays in each huddle. Unfortunately, Reid has always been criticized for poor clock management and as being a poor game coach. It could have been better played the last five minutes. Not mention a really poor on-side kick! Really poor!
At least he was smart enough not to call in which he was the primary receiver.
Rush wasn't dissing McNabb as much as he was dissing the media for all their hype
A lot of today's athletes have media coaches that actually advise them to say bland & inane stuff like that so as not to generate any controversy.
"...Well, McNabb should be proud that he accomplish a "first." He was the first Black quarterback to LOSE a Super Bowl!..."
That honor goes to Steve McNair of the Tennessee Titans.
That was LAST SEASON!! McNabb had 31 TD and 8 INT this year!! Last year, who did he have to throw to -- Pinkston and Thrash? This year, he had no running game in the Super Bowl.
The vaunted Eagle Defense was very average in the Super Bowl. Branch carved them up like a jack-o-lantern. Kearse did nothing. Did Dawkins make one good hit all game?
McNair always gets overlooked.
Kearse did nothing against the Patriots when was a Titan. Matt Light did a great job against him.
Heck, throw three! (what a McFool McNabb is to McThink the McAverage NFL McFan will McBuy this McLamest of excuses ROFLMAO)
3 TD, 3 INT and 350 yards. Sounds like a typical Terry Bradshaw game.
