I have much more respect for people who allow life to show on their faces.

You can always tell that there has been "work" done on a face, just as you can tell that someone is old by their wrinkles.

So what is the point?

BTW he reminds me of the mother in Terry Gilliam's Brazil. Wish someone could post a pix of that for me since I don't know how to do it!

Didn't he file for bankruptcy?. I thought he lost everything..BTW..his life went in the crapper when he started messing around with Loni Anderson..and it wasn't a career enhancer for her, either..

"Burt Reynolds would no doubt give anything to return to the days when he was a fresh-faced sex symbol."

So would PV77.

You do realize Laz, that you probably sent a few Eagle fans over the edge with that comment.

They were barely holding on as it was.

When I saw the superbowl ad with him in it, my first thought was that it was an imposter, playing Bert.

When I saw that ad, I thought maybe it was Michael Jackson.

Smokey & the Bandit was great though.

Yeah, but Smokey & the Bandit III was a TERRIBLE, TERRRIBLE, TERRIBLE movie!!! OWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.

But, who cares about Burt. Let's talk about LONI (and see some pics!) :)

Sad, sad day if this happens to Loni. SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGH

Here's a tip for Pelosi and others who take the same path: If you're going to have that much work done on your face, wear gloves so people can't tell how OLD you are by looking at your hands.

Clint and Burt are perfect examples of how to manage a long show business career and how not to.

One is a legend who will probably win another Best Director Oscar without any plastic surgery.

The other is sharing surgeons with Michael Jackson and starring with a dancing bear in a FedEx commercial.

This was my first thought too --- Burt is running a contest with Whacko-Jacko --- oh, he looks bad. Looks more like a hundred overdoses of Botox...otherwise he would look like Wayne Newton, who does not have enough skin left to shut his eyes!!! Yikes!!

Remember good ol' Jerry Reed. I have his Super Hits CD in my car. Listened to "Eastbound & Down" and "Lord, Mr. Ford" on my way to work this morning. That's why this story caught my eye.

Pelosi's face job is much worse...go pick on her.

Burt has fallen quite a way from the days when he was probably the coolest guy in America, i.e., when he was first starting out and Doris Day took such a liking to him.

I liked him best in The Longest Yard, especially the beginning.
