I admit that rationally I have trouble explaining or at times even accepting a strict Genesis account of, say, a "six day" origin. But to me it's all irrelevant, because I begin at Jesus and work forward and backward.

Either He is who He says He is, or not. All the evidence completely confirms He was. Therefore, Jesus believed in heaven, hell, angels, demons, Noah, the flood, Genesis, etc., and therefore they all must be accurate. End of story. Once Jesus is proved as the Man, then there really are no more arguments.

Most scholars say the Hebrew word for 'day' in Genesis can be interpreted as 'a period of time' and does not mean a strict 24 hour day. With that understanding, the Genesis account is not so hard to accept.

JESUS

IS CERTAINLY

THE FULCRUM

of all fulcrums past, present and future.

I like beginning with HIM, too. and ending with HIM, too.

PRAISE GOD, FATHER, SON, SPIRIT.
