PHILADELPHIA - A Canadian woman who accused Bill Cosby of drugging and groping her reportedly taped phone calls with him after she reported the offense.
Cosby initiated the calls, and they support her allegations, sources told the Philadelphia Daily News.
The woman's attorneys turned over copies of the tapes to the Montgomery County, Pa., prosecutor's office a couple of weeks ago, sources said....."

She taped phone conversations without the knowledge of the person being recorded? Is that legal?
BTW, how do you prove it was Cosby that made the calls?

No it isn't in most states. I am skeptical of this.

I do not buy the story. With the money that Cosby has why in the world would he do something this stupid? I suspect this is a hit on his deep pockets.
At his age, the only person Bill Cosby needs to medicate to have sex, is himself.
Despite Cosby's recent forays into making sense, I never forgot that this was the guy who gave Tawana Brawley $25,000 and blamed the CIA for inventing AIDS to kill black people.
Cosby's always been truly screwed up.
I hope this is an inaccurate report. I've always liked Cosby, but I suspect some others don't like him the way he has not been towing the party line lately.
Well the fact she went to a lawyer before the cops and still stayed in contact with him and asked for tixs for her and parents to a show has my radar up but we see where tapegate goes

Cosby reminds me of that old saying"I can't hear what you are saying cause what you do speaks so loudly"
Cosby stirred up the whole plantation when he advocated for personal responsibility and repudiated the canon of victimhood. I believe this is payback.
If there is anything to this, it could be explosive.
On the other hand the whole thing, including the phone tapes, could be a shakedown. It would be like the O'reilly tapes where the aim would be to create the impression that there was something improper that had happened. Cosby did not know he was being taped and we do not know what kind of patter was exchanged between the two before. It would be easy for her to lead him into some conversation that would sound bad, particularly if she was coached beforehand.
