I still wonder why this scenario is a lauded rite of passage. If it were a male teacher and a teen girl, I bet the men on this thread would want him strung up.

I have seen highly sexual mid adolescents when I was in that peer group who did similar things. It was usually for attention from men when 14-15 year old girls did "it" with mid 20s guys. The reverse was rare but happened to me ironically...or maybe not ironically.

I think society views the ramifications differently but that is not always true either.In the poorer parts of the Mississippi Delta the average age that a young unmarried black girl began having children used to be 13-14 before welfare reform. That was not right but it was common.

My cousin is an OB nurse there and has seen 20 year olds with 5-6 children.

My grandmother married at 14 to my 17 year old grandpa back in the 1910s.

I sure don't think this girl deserves 100 years. Nor would I think a man would either were it reversed and consensual...but I do think the consequences could be worse for the girl....more often than not.
