Thanks for the picture Jet. Space 1999 had some pretty good special effects and came out a year before the first Star Wars.

I remember. I liked it. (well, I like any space show)

I remember. I liked it. (well, I like any space show) Going back to the late 70's, there was a show, I can't remember it's name, and it was about a huge ship menadering through space and it was launched thousands of years ago. The ship had lost it's original culture and had turned into different fiefdoms and the show was about a group going through the ship and encountering the different groups I think trying to get to the bridge so that they could steer it to a planet.
It was cheesy, but it was so cheesy, that it was actually entertaining.
Another sci-fi show, I watched was War of the Worlds in the late 80's.
