Rush criticized Kurt Cobain for having died of a recreational drug overdose. In later years Rush became dependent on prescription medication which he used to combat a legitimate medical problem. RockAgainstTheLeft compared the two as if they had been the same thing.

But Cobain sought out drugs for fun and became addicted, Rush needed them for ailments and became dependent . They are not comparable
