they can some do but it is not a trait shared by anywhere close to a majority of the population. I am not talking about having a single legal spouse but one lone partner paired for life. More than likely most humans will have several partners before settling, hopefully, on their one spouse. Calling being married monogamy flies in the face of what monogamy is. Marriage is a social contract monogamy is a method of mating.
