General "Mad Dog" Mattis
"Actually, it's a lot of fun to fight. You know, it's a hell of a hoot. ... It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right upfront with you, I like brawling." He added, "You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them."
It turns out there actually are "military ethicists." One of them, Jeff McCausland, director of the Leadership in Conflict Initiative (at Dickinson College, Carlisle, Pa.) called General Mattis' remarks "unprofessional and inappropriate" and noted that they send a "terrible message" to those serving under him.
err.....It's exactly the right message to send....terrible like in "terrible swift sword"....terrorists take note....I like it. This Jeff McCausland sounds like a pussy.
Makes you appreciate Dr. Mike Adams's contention that tenure should be abolished. All these academic weenies would melt like the Wicked Witch of the West if they were doused with the competitive job market that the rest of us must live in.
