Liberal 'Budget Hawks' Come Home To Roost

Some Liberals -- call them the "budget hawks" -- spent most of the 2004 election season trying to drive a wedge between President Bush and his own party. For months, Democrats (the once-powerful political party now owned by Liberals) constantly harped upon government spending and the rising deficit.

This would be an ideal time to CUT SOME DAMM SPENDING (after all the fuss the democraps made about the deficit)

More than anything else, the size of the budget gives credence to those who insist there's precious little to differentiate Republicans and Democrats.

Okay, maybe the annual, pork-laden Transportation Bill is a better example. And, the equally pork-laden omnibus Appropriations Bill. But, you get my point.
