And Patriots "fans," if there are any real ones in Boston

I started going to Pats games in 1963 when I cam back from overseas.

Watched 'em play in high school stadiums, town fields, Fenway Park, Braves (BU) Field, BC and a few other off the wall venues. They didn't have their own stadium until 1971, or was it 1972. They even played a home game at Mississippi.

I realize, being from Philadelphia, you may have some trouble with the math, but it took me 40 years to see the success the Patriots are having.

At no time during these 40 years did I begrudge any of the Pats opponents or fans with their success. I loved the game and with respect, you could work on your own sportsmanship and sense of fair play. The Eagles fans thought they were owed this game. They weren't and they weren't good enough to win it on the field.

The Eagles lost. You lost. Now take it like a man.
