The 1st Draft Lottery in late '69 my birthday was # 1
However I had just gotten out of the Navy in Sept '69
In fact I had to register for the draft when I got out because I was 17 when I enlisted.

Hey Tonk,
There were rumors that my local draft board was comprised of fathers of ripe young girls. They were furious when the lottery draft passed.
