That's funny, because Sand Lake really is a village!
I live in Milwaukee, WI and this story made our local morning radio news. They also stated that the boy was 4 years old.
I saw the two officers who collared the creep on TV. They gave the details (while trying not to laugh).
Interviewer: "What did he say when you pulled him over?"
Officer: "He wanted his mommy."
I can just see the next headlines from there:
Road Rage incident in Sand Lake. 5-year old cuts off 6-year old in traffic - fight ensues...
Uh - Maybe mom will join Netflix?
First of all, I still don't believe the story is accurate. Second, 4 yr olds can't be creeps.
I called him a creep in jest. Trying to be funny. Guess it didn't work.
LOL!
My ex-girlfriend's 4-year old daughter once got the car keys, started the car, backed out of the driveway, and then proceeded to drive it into a gate. She was going to the store. It is hard to imagine a 4 year old driving all the way to a store and back.
Don't be fooled into thinking for one minute that a four year old couldn't figure out how to drive a car. I have a son who just turned 5. When he was four, he would get in my mom's Ford Ranger and sit next to her on the seat. He watched EVERYTHING she did! He knew how it was started, to pull down on the gear shift, EVERYTHING!! Needless to say, we PULL the keys from EVERY vehicle and lock them. He still says that he can drive a car!! We just don't give him the chance! I saw this on last nights news. This car that this kid drove was an older model too, which probably doesn't have some of the 'safety mechanisms' that newer cars would have.
BTTT
Well, if the shoe fits....

SAND LAKE, Mich. - A boy drove his mother's car to a video store in the middle of the night, police said and he's all of 4 years old.
Even though he was unable to reach the accelerator, the boy managed to put the car in gear and the idling engine provided enough power to take him slowly to the store, a quarter-mile from his home, about 1:30 a.m. Friday, Police Chief Doug Heugel said. Finding the store closed, the youngster began a slow trip home.
Weaving and with its headlights off, the car got the attention of police Sgt. Jay Osga, who initially thought he was following a driverless car that had taken off after being left running at a gas pump.
The car turned into the boy's apartment complex and struck two parked cars, then backed up and struck Osga's police car.
That's when Osga discovered the boy inside.
"He knew how to go from forward to reverse," Osga said Monday. "The mother said she taught him how to drive by letting him sit on her lap and steer."
No charges will be filed against the boy or his mother, Heugel said.
"He's 4 years old. His mom didn't even know he was up," Heugel told The Grand Rapids Press. "I don't think he even realizes what he did
You don't know the 4 year olds I know.
Eeek, it's too early in the day to be thinking of Hitlary yet...
Just damn.
If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...
Own up you Dad's love to teach the kids, to drive
D@mn late fees.............
If he was in a car seat, he couldn't run into the store to pick up her cigarettes?
