Communism embraced evolution by saying there was no god and evolution proves it.

Communists also wore clothes and ate food. I guess if the communists did it, it must automatically be evil.

And, BTW, the Soviet Union did not adopt the TOE. If anything, scientists who supported the TOE would find themselves in trouble with the authorities.

Just curious, what was the official stance of the Soviet Union on this matter? If evolutionary theory was taboo, did they teach something else, or just leave that out of biology class?
