I know this wasn't to me, but my answer would be that a kid in grade school really in almost any school should not have to even confront or face this issue. Yes, I am a teacher.

Kids shouldn't have to confront or be faced with a lot of things. Unfortunatly the real world isn't like that.

Other kids will curse, offer them drugs, assault, engage in all kinds of sexual manner of behavior etc.

It would be great if every parent could babysit them 24/7 but barring that what to do?
