The system is too corrupt to fix. That's it in a nutshell. Unfortunately, the ones who deny that fact and blame the parents are the ones who haven't yet tried.
The only way to improve public education is to pull ALL funding, reduce county and state taxes accordingly, and let the parents decide how to best educate their children.
Public school "teachers" are not qualified to teach children whose IQ is above average. Whether they are qualified to teach their mentally retarded equals is questionable at best.

I've been harping on this. Don't we have hate speech laws, so much beloved by liberals? Don't we have laws against inciting to violence? Freedom of speech has its limits, the first and foremost being responsibility. Where are the governmental authorities who are supposed to call these people to account?
