Alone in an airport or even a public park any parent
with half a brain would expect that such a thing might
happen.

That article might as well read:
Children who stand on street corners without their parents
may be at the mercy of kidnappers, pimps, molesters, and
other predators, according to an exclusive Problem Solvers
report.

But then again the government doesn't mandate that you
put your children on the street corner.

However the government does mandate you sending your
children to school.
