A person can learn much wisdom from Groucho Marx.

"Why is it that as soon as they get rich, they become Republicans?" - Groucho Marx

I'm not sure that Groucho would have been a fan of this website.

Groucho was a lifelong Democrat.

I think that he might of had fun commenting here, even though he was a democrat, for judging from his humor he had a mistrust of government and a intolerance for fools. He did say though that "I don't want to to belong to any club that would have me as a member." Unlike Karl Marx his politics were unimportant, his legacy was his humor. If there is a trait many Americans share, regardless of their differences, it is a sense of humor. From Ronald Reagan's quips after being shot to General Mcauliffe's reply of "nuts" at Bastogne humor can also be a flag of defiance and strength. In short, I value Groucho Marx's ability to make me laugh regardless of what he would of thought of this website.
